, Fizzics Beer Review – sound wave pints, Draught Beer At HomeWhat is the Fizzics Waytap Beer Draft System?

Sound waves and beer…weird right? Hopefully, this Fizzics beer review will help make clear how sound waves can help deliver you a much better quality at home pint.

There’s actual technology behind the Fizzics Waytap machine, it uses pressure from ultrasonic waves to convert the beers natural fizz into compactly arranged bubbles that optimise the smell and enhance the texture and taste of your beer.

All you need to do is place your favourite beer can or bottle into the Waytap system and then it automatically pressurises ready for you to engage the sonic oscillator to dispense your much-improved draught beer…it’s a doddle.

Having tried using the product, I tasted my can of IPA before using and then after and I could definitely notice some difference. I felt the beer was a lot smoother and definitely had a better aroma to it than just out of the can. Unlike other can converter systems, this one has been backed by science, pours really well and gives you a good quality head on your pint, it’s definitely the best can converter that I have come across.

The good thing about converters is that they are portable so they don’t just have to sit at your house and certainly are a good addition to a home bar. The Waytap though is not really a solution for parties or entertaining as you, of course, will need to replace can by can yet I think it’s the best converter option out there as in my opinion you definitely get an upgrade on your beer quality. I would avoid using it for heavily carbonated beers such as Belgian beers as sometimes beer can be forced out before pulling the handle. It will work with 330ml standard bottles and can’s up to 500ml providing not higher than 23cm.

How does it work?

Insert 4 x AA batteries, insert your can or bottle into the Waytap system and close it and you are good to go. Pulling the handle forward carefully pours the body of the beer under pressure into your glass, with a digital flow control that keeps the bottle pressurised. Pushing the handle backwards creates the micro-foam which lets you pull your desired head.

The short video below demonstrates how easy it is to use…
